Hopa is apart from that a quite mediocre affair from a player perspective.

Hopa has been delivering online gaming entertainment since 2005 and has over 40 different varieties of slot games for you to choose from. They also have a healthy assortment of scratch cards and other casino games.

While they offer a small array of casino games, many of the titles are simply scratch card versions of table favorites. Their "roulette lounge" features one roulette table with a set of scratch cards, and the only poker variations available are either in scratch card or video poker formats. That said, there are a few skill games available that were fun to play. However, hardcore casino players may want to look elsewhere. One possible upside is that there are a lot of progressive jackpot games available for both scratch and lottery players.

They offer an online software that is very similar to that of many others out there. However, for reasons I don't quite understand, it seemed slower and much more clunky than some of its counterparts. While I was able to sign up and begin playing many of the titles available in a matter of seconds, there was a slight delay in many of the games, both in responsiveness and animations. It certainly didn't stop me from playing, but it was noticeable. I was pleased to see that they offer a mobile version of their site, though. Players who own a smart phone should be able to access the site without issue anywhere on the go.

Promotions and Bonuses

Hopa offers nothing that hasn't been seen before in terms of bonus offers. The only way to receive extra deposit bonus offers beyond the now industry standard 100% first deposit match and $5 no deposit bonus is to qualify for their Club Pearl VIP program. Like many of these clubs, it's difficult to tell what the exact entry requirements are. While the perks (faster withdrawal processing, better bonus offers and exclusive games) seem nice, these rewards are reserved for the top volume players of the site. Most players will find themselves unable to meet the wagering and deposit requirements needed to reap these benefits.

Customer Support

There are certainly no shortage of ways to contact customer support. You can do so via email, telephone, fax and online chat. They don't appear to ever close their doors, and I received an email response in under 15 minutes. If you wish, you can even send an email directly from the site itself and they will get back to you. I was disappointed to learn that their toll-free telephone option was only available to United Kingdom players, and they apparently don't specifically tailor their site to the rest of the world.

Unless you're absolutely in love with the games offered there and you absolutely require access to the games via mobile phone I would not consider Hopa as one of the top sites for scratch cards.
